Preity Zinta Birth and early life

Preity Zinta was born on 31 January 1975 in Shimla to Father Durganand Zinta and Mother Neel Prabha Zinta in a Rajput family. He was very fond of playing basketball in his childhood.

Preity's father Durganand Zinta was an officer in the Indian Army. When Preeti was only 13 years old, her father was killed in a car accident and her mother was traveling with her father in the car. 

Till lying on the bed. Zinta described her father's death as a turning point in her life, which forced her to mature rapidly. Apart from Preity, she also has two brothers, in which the elder brother's name is Deepankar Zinta, who is a commissioned officer in the Indian Army, and the younger brother's name is Manish Zinta, who lives in California.

Preeti has narrowly escaped death twice in her life, first when an explosion occurred at the "Temptation Concert" in Colombo (2004) where she was performing, and second, when she died during the Indian Ocean Tsunami disaster (2004). Time was in the danger zone.

Preity Zinta completed her early education from a boarding school Convent of Jesus and Mary Boarding, Shimla, Himachal Pradesh and The Lawrence School, Shanawar, Solan, Himachal Pradesh.

In 2021, she and her husband became parents to twins, a boy and a girl, through surrogacy.

Preeti started her career as an advertisement model. In the year 1996, he was featured in a chocolate advertisement for Perk. After this she got a chance to work with Hrithik Roshan in the film 'Tara Rum Pum Pum' with director Shekhar Kapur, but later this film was canceled but later the film was made with actor Saif Ali Khan.
